The Students on Ice Expedition are looking for youth in Nunatsiavut to take part in their 19th annual expedition this summer.
This expedition is the Arctic 2019 Expedition.
We spoke with Shirley Manh who is one of the Expedition Managers with Students on ice.
And the deadline is fast approaching; the deadline to submit your application for the Arctic 2019 is Sunday, February 17, 2019.
She says students will be traveling to Greenland from Ottawa.
Manh says students from Nunatsiavut can get full scholarships if they apply.
This summer students will have the opportunity to be on the land, learn something different about having a healthy sustainable environment.
And this year there will be 8 scholarships for Nunatsiavut students.
This expedition is for Youth ages 14 to 18 who are either students or post secondary students.
