The Lawrence O’Brien Arts Center will be hosting a tribute to George Jones, one of country music’s all-time greatest artists, this evening at 8 pm.
Kathleen Hicks is the Manager of the Eastern Labrador Arts Alliance (ELAA).
She says that a group of 6 musicians and singers will be performing 32 of George Jones’ songs.
Featured vocalists Bob MacDonald and Karla Pilgrim will bring this timeless music to the stage with the help of an all-star lineup of musicians.
The lineup will consist of Sandy Morris, Craig Young, Chris LeDrew, Scott Mansfield, and Brian Way.
They will be featuring hits like “The Grand Tour”, “A Picture of Me”, “The Race is On”, “He Stopped Loving Her Today”, and “If Drinking Don’t Kill Me”.
Tickets are available at $28 for adults and $24 for seniors and students.
Hicks added that it’s going to be a great show, and they have sold a lot of tickets already.
