The Inukbook project is looking for illustrators.
The project is a partnership of the Nunatsiavut Government Department of Education and the the Tradition and Transition project.
Tradition and Transition is a joint partnership between Memorial University and the Nunatsiavut Government.
OK Radio spoke with Jodie Lane, the Education Manager with the Nunatsiavut Government’s Department of Education and Economic Development.
Lane says their project is specifically geared towards creating 10 Inuktitut children’s books over the next few years.
They are currently seeking illustrators for the Inukbook.
The illustrator will be drawing pictures for the book.
