The Community Employment Enhancement Program is still on the go in Postville.
Shirley Goudie is the Town Manager.
She said they have one employee working on crafts and another one helping elder’s with chopping wood, the two are almost finished getting hours in.
Goudie said there are some people that still need more hours to work, but where there is just about couple weeks left for this program, they wouldn’t have enough time to qualify for their hours.
She says they are waiting on getting approved for their knitting program and are approved from Inuit Pathways to hire anyone on a Work Experience Program for 16 weeks.
