JHMS Class Needs Your Help to Get to Banff National Park

The Jens Haven Memorial School’s grade eight class needs your help to win Parks Canada’s ‘Coolest School Trip Contest’.

Natalie Lushman is the class’ teacher.

She says they submitted a video showing the significance of the Torngat Mountains National Park.

The contest is open to grade eight classes from across Canada and the winner receives a 4-day class trip to Banff National Park.

The class has already made it through the first round of the competition.

Now they need your help in the second round.

They’re asking you to go to myparkspass.ca and vote for their video.

The class needs enough votes to put them in the top ten videos, qualifying them for the third round of the competition.

A panel of judges will then select the winner from the top ten entries.

Lushman says you can vote for the Jens Haven Memorial School’s entry at myparkspass.ca.

The deadline to submit your vote is February 24.
