Two more Nunatsiavut hunters made use of moose license in Hopedale last week.
Kevin Flowers and Greg Flowers both harvested a moose each last Tuesday.
The pair harvested their moose at the same time in Udjutok Bay which is about 68 kilometres west of Hopedale.
A .300 Winchester was used take down both of the moose.
Kevin’s moose was male and weighed around 550 pounds.
Greg’s moose was a female and weighed around 400 pounds.
The two are planning to distribute the meat from their catches throughout the community.
The latest two kills brings the total number of moose harvested this season in Nunatsiavut to six.
Three have been harvested by Nain hunters and one moose was killed by a Postville hunter.
