It was announced yesterday that we now have 14 new cases, all in Eastern Health.
There is now 217 total cases in NL (207 Eastern Health, 6 Labrador Grenfell Health, 3 Central Health, 1 Western Health)
167 cases are linked the Caul’s funeral home cluster.
The demographic breakdown is 53% female, 47% male.
By age, we have 19 people under the age of 20, 29 between 20-39, 33 between 40-49, 49 between 50-59, and 45 between 60-69, and 42 who are 70 or above.
10 people are in hospital and 3 of these patients are in an intensive care unit (ICU).
28 people have now recovered.
3,565 people have been tested so far.
Sadly, 1 person has died from COVID-19 in NL.
Today they will be providing further information on where cases of COVID-19 are located in the province.
Please reconsider traveling to visit loved ones next weekend for Easter and try to get together virtually.
Try to limit your interaction with other people wherever possible.
