The Jens Haven Primary School is getting ready for the Kinder Start Sessions this month.
Kent Chaulk is the Principal of Jens Haven Memorial School in Nain.
He says the first Kinder Start session will be tomorrow, Friday, April 23rd for the Kindergarten students of 2021-2022, with a total of 25 students.
Shannon Dicker is the Kindergarten teacher.
This year there are two sessions; the first session will be from 10am-11:30am, and the second session will be from 1:15pm-2:45pm.
Calls were made to the parents to notify what session their child will be attending.
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only 1 parent/caregiver is permitted to attend, and adults must wear a mask.
Parents will attend with their child, but will be in a separate room due to limited people in the classroom. So please bring a book, or something to keep busy.
Your child will need indoor shoes, and a snack. The snack must be Peanut and Tree Nut Free.
Kindergarten classes will be closed tomorrow due to the Kinder Start sessions and classes will resume on Monday, April 26 for the Kindergarteners.
They are looking forward to seeing you all.
If you have any questions, you can call the school at 922-2813.
