In the town of Makkovik the Inuit Community Government started clearing the roads yesterday.
Barry Andersen is the AngajukKâk.
He says the harbour ice is pretty bad now and too dangerous to go with floating ice around the shore.
Andersen says they are making plans for their summer projects.
