There is a drum dancing group that started last year in the Lake Melville school.
We spoke with Salome Jararuse who is the Drumming Instructor.
She says they did 8 performances so far and will be doing another for the opening of the Winter Games.
Jararuse adds that they’ve also been asked to attend a number of different schools to perform in St. John’s.
