The community of Nain was invited to have a bonfire to celebrate Guy Fawke’s Night last night.
OKâlaKatiget Radio spoke with the after-school Program Supervisor, Gwen Dyson.
The weather wasn’t cooperating on the night of November 5, so the recreation department postponed it to November 8, 2023.
Dyson mentioned there were more people at the fire than expected.
The fire was located at the playground beside the volleyball court, starting at 6pm and ended at 8pm.
They had roast sticks ready and served everyone hot chocolate, marshmallows, and wieners.
