We spoke with Hopedale DHSD Public health nurse Kim Dicker this morning, she says that the Vaccine Clinic will be on going this week on October 17th, Tuesday @9am-11:30am and again at 1pm- 4pm.
For Wednesday it will be open again from 1pm-4pm, then later in the evening @6-8. For Thursday, it is open from 6pm-8pm.
Anyone who wants these influenza and Covid-19 vaccines you are asked to go to the DHSD building.
Dicker mentions that for next week October 24th, from Tuesday to Thursday it will be held at the same time, to be reminded of the times, you can call Kim at 933-3894.
We also spoke with Marilyn Baikie Public health nurse in Rioglet,
Baikie has the dates for the influenza vaccines, time being on the 31st of this month, and for Nov the 1st to the 2nd. She asks that if you would like to have your flu vaccines, you can call the DHSD office to book an appointment @947-3328.
She says that for the 1st and 2nd of November, the appointments will be throughout the day and evenings. We will get another update from Baikie for when the Covid-19 vaccines are going to be, but it will be the same to call for an appointment.
For the community of Makkovik, Betty the DHSD public health nurse updated us for the influenza vaccines, the dates are set for Nov the 2nd – 3rd.
You can go to the DHSD office from 9am-11:30am and in the afternoon at 1:30-4pm. Then later in the evening @ 6-8pm.
Betty says for the Covid-Vaccinations, it is going to be help on Nov4th from 1-3pm and again on November 6th-10th at the same times .
