The Nunatsiavut Department of Health and Social Development’s along the coast has a few events happening in the next couple of days.
The OKâlaKatiget Society reach out to each of the departments, to seek as much information as possible to get the word out to public.
Nain’s DHSD has Inutongilatit Adult Support Group held each Monday at the DHSD. This group starts at 7pm, wit ha sharing circle, refreshments and other activities. If you need more information, you could contact the Nain’s DHSD at 709 922 2126.
Postville DHSD has a Diamond Dots activity planned for seniors 55+, today, November 6, 2023 at the DHSD multipurpose room. This will be held from 6-8pm.
Hopedale’s DHSD will be hosting a TB bingo night for ages 18-49 and for ages 50+. This will be at the DHSD multipurpose room, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 6-7pm for 50+ and 7-8pm for ages 18-49.
There will be an open house about the dialogue on the Nain seabed, seawater and ice, today, November 6 at the NG main boardroom at 7:00pm. Public are advised to come out, and snacks will be provided.
The Qunuippitaa? National Inuit Health Survey are almost complete here in Nain.
There are still a few surveys to be done, and it’s important to continue to participate.
If you are chosen, the information gathered will be used to shape and create future program services in Nunatsiavut.
