OKâlaKatiget Radio contacted the coastal Recreation Departments for updates.
In Rigolet we spoke with Claire Brooke Blake-Pottle, a Recreation student, Blake-Pottle says that there are no events going on except for the Parents and Tots program.
In Postville we spoke with Jacqueline Harris, Recreation Director, They are holding their summer recreation program for children ages 0-4, and 5-11 daily.
In Hopedale we spoke with Stonia Nochasak, Office Assistant, They are also holding their summer recreation programs in the mornings and afternoons for children ages 5-12, with 2 students employed. They also hold evening programs with other staff from the department.
