Women stories will be collected in Nain next week.
Andrea Proctor is the PhD of Anthropology with MUN in St. John’s.
She says she will be working on her project with some Jens Haven Memorial School English class students.
Proctor says her project goal is to recognize women for their roles and services within their towns.
She says she will be travelling to the other Nunatsiavut communities to get more stories.
Proctor added that people can contact her and read more about the Daughters of Mikak project on their Facebook page at https:/www.facebook.com/DaughtersofMikak.
