The province is reporting 10 new COVID-related deaths, the highest total in a single reporting period to date.
There are 31 people in hospital due to the virus, seven of whom are in critical care.
Meanwhile, after a period of steadily dropping case numbers, the number of confirmed cases are up again.
189 confirmed COVID cases were reported on Tuesday and another 179 today.
That is up considerably from lower case counts reporting over the long Easter weekend.
