Mark Turner and Jamie Brake will be resuming their series of Discussions on Media, Archives and Heritage that was disrupted by weather this past February.
Turner is the Adjunct Professor at the School of Music at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and Brake is the Archeologist for the Nunatsiavut Government.
The pair will be holding three public sessions:
Hopedale: Assembly Building on Wednesday, August 9 at 7:00 pm.
North West River: Labrador Institute Research Station: Friday, August 11 at 1:00 pm.
Happy Valley-Goose Bay: Labrador Friendship Centre, Friday, August 11 at 3:30 pm.
The discussions will focus on film, television, and sound media, the development of a plan for a collections repository in Nunatsiavut, and the development of heritage legislation for Nunatsiavut.
