The Easter games that will be held here in Nain have been scheduled for Monday April 18, 2022.

To start off the Easter games with a ball hockey tournament up the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre on Saturday, April 16th, for children ages 5-16 years of age from 11am-2pm.
Then there will be men’s/women’s volleyball starting @ 2pm. To play, the registration fee is $20 a player and $10 for youth in JHMS, with a maximum of 6 players & minimum of 5. the deadline to register for this event is April 13th @ 10am.
There will be children and adult ice games being held at the Nain harbour from 1pm-2:30pm on Monday April 18th.
For the children ice games, will be egg & spoon race, piggy back race, dizzy race, wheel barrow race, crawling race, rubber boot kick, bunny hop race, Kamutik race.
And for the adult ice games the games will be dizzy race, dizzy piggy back race, Kamutik race, four legged race, pogo stick race, rubber boot kick, backwards dizzy race, barefoot running race, egg & spoon race (in mouth).
Anyone 13 years and older have ball hockey taking place at the JS center from 6pm-10pm the following day.
There will be a 120’s card game tournament from 6pm-10pm also at the JS center. There won’t be any children permitted for this event, the prizes to be awarded for 1st prize- $100 2nd prize- $75 3rd prize- $50 Boogie.
For the adults that want to play a game the fee will cost them $3 per event and for the youth they will have to pay $1 per event as for the senior 55 years of age or older will be free.
Easter games passes are available at the Nain Inuit community office passes can be used for free admission into most Easter games.
The cost of a Easter button for adults will cost $10 and for the youth will be $5 as for the seniors 55 years or older will be free.
