The Department of Language and Culture and Tourism set up a Tupik (tent) by the Illusuak Center this passed Monday.
The Elders social gathering was held that afternoon.
Elders were inside the tent telling stories about being off on the land and childhood memories.
We had the opportunity to hear some stories during the Elders social.
