Salmon, Char and Trout are being tagged in the Upper Lake Melville area and in the vicinity of Rigolet.
Todd Broomfield is the Fisheries Specialist for the Nunatsiavut Government in Makkovik.
Broomfield says that this is a program to identify the migration patterns of these fish species.
Broomfields says that so far 28 fish have been tagged.
