Ray and Juanita Whalen are leaving Nain.
They have been serving the people of the community through Shining Light Ministries for 12 years.
According to Juanita Whalen, they have actually been coming back and forth to Nain since 1994.
Whalen says they were called by God to come here.
She says they have had one purpose here-to love and serve the people of Nain.
Whalen adds they have many wonderful memories of the people in the community.
But the community hasn’t seen the last of them-they are planning on still travelling back and forth to Nain.
In fact, they plan to return this summer.
