An Atausiq Inuktut Titirausiq Task Force was started in 2013 to look at Inuttitut Language writing systems to be potentially standardized in all the Inuit regions including Nunatsiavut, Canada.
Jeela Palluq Cloutier is the National Language Inuit Coordinator for Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami.
Palluq Cloutier says that they will be holding consultations in the Inuit Communities of Nain, Hopedale and Makkovik this week.
Palluq Cloutier adds that they will be inviting the public to hear what their concerns are and to get input for this initiative.
