Construction of Nunatsiavut Government’s Illusuak started in Nain this summer.
Isabella Pain is the Deputy Minister for Nunatsiavut Secretariat.
Pain says they have been working on this project since 2005 and about two thirds of the required funding of 15 million dollars has been secured.
Nillik Construction a subsidiary of Nunatsiavut Group of Companies are the contractors for the construction of the facility.
Deputy Minister Pain recently returned from St. John’s where they did a presentation for potential partners on the Illusuak project.
