Nain Inuit Community Government has received funds to repair the old wooden bridge across the brook in Nain and also some funds to put up a fence for the new cemetery.

He says they received funding from the Ullapitsaijet Steering Committee.
Dicker says ICG is now ordering materials, such as lumber for the wooden bridge and boards for a fence on the new cemetery.
They are hoping that the lumber is shipped and they receive it before shipping the season closes.
ICG will be hiring people to work on the two projects after their orders are in this fall.
