The trial date for a lawsuit by residential school survivors against the federal government has been set for September 2015.
Steven Cooper is the lawyer who has been handling the case since 2007.
Cooper says that there are approximately 1200 survivors in Newfoundland and Labrador involved in the law suit.
Cooper says the delays may cause some survivors to not see a settlement.
