International Grenfell Association Representatives Visiting Nunatsiavut Communities (Audio)

The International Grenfell Association hands out a number of grants to various organizations within Labrador every year.

They were in Nunatsiavut this week to meet with some of the organizations they provide with funding.

Dr. Norman Pinder, a retired public health physician, is the Chairmen of the Association.

He says representatives of the IGA are travelling to each of the north coast communities to meet with various organizations and community leaders.

They are in the communities to get a better understanding of the community’s needs.

Through the community visits they hope to help the IGA use their funds more effectively.
