Noah Nochasak Returning To George River By Kayak (Audio)

Noah Nochasak is heading back to George River.

The Nain Adventurer will be using a different mode of transportation this time around.

Nochasak will be making the trip in a Kayak he constructed himself.

His latest adventure follows his last trek to George River by foot with Jerry Kobelanko this past spring.

Nochasak will have some distinguished company for this adventure as well.

Dr. Lev Tarasov, an Associate Professor with the Memorial University of Newfoundland, and Dr. Rod MacKinnon,  a Professor at the Rockefeller Uiversity in New York and Nobel Prize winner, are joining him this time around.

Nochasak says they’ll travel around 950 kilometers to make it to George River.

The three were scheduled to leave on Thursday morning.
