Antennas No Longer Pick Up CBC and APTN

People who watch television using an antenna have been left without any channels.

The CBC shut down its analog transmitters in Labrador on Wednesday.

That means that people who relied on the signal to view CBC and APTN can no longer receive the channels.

Cable subscribers have lost their regional CBC feed as well.

Viewers are currently receiving the Nova Scotia feed.

That means that cable subscribers cannot watch local programming such as ‘Here and Now’ and ‘Land and Sea’.

The provider, Eastlink, has stated that viewers will receive the Nova Scotia feed until January when the Newfoundland and Labrador feed will be put back in place.
