OKalaKatiget Society reported that the Northern Ranger will be back in service in a week or two.
Unfortunately, the parts needed for the repairs to the Ranger have not arrived yet.
However, they are ordered.
As a result, CAI Nunatsiavut Marine’s Administrations office, Brigette Chaulk says that they are still waiting on those parts.
She does not know when the parts will be received, or when the Ranger will be back in service.
Consequently, there is no guaranteed time for the return of the Northern Ranger. Chaulk says that they’d love to have the Ranger back in service, but this will depend on when the parts arrive.
