A 46-year-old male from Nain is facing drug charges after police intercepted a package that was sent through the mail.
Sgt. Richard White from the Nain RCMP says that they received information regarding drugs being shipped into the community through the mail system.
On the afternoon of November 15th, the man who took possession of the package was arrested.
The RCMP seized 380 grams of Marijuana with an estimated street value of about $11,500.
The man is being held on charges of trafficking drugs.
His name has not been released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
