The Assembly of Nunatsiavut Government approved the 2013 budget at their last sitting in Hopedale in early March.
Sarah Leo is the President.
She says they recently completed a housing needs assessment within the north coast communities.
NG has put some money aside to work out a strategy with regards to housing in Nunatsiavut.
Leo also says NG will not be receiving any mining tax royalties for the next few years from the province.
But the money that goes into Tessiujatsuak Trust will not be affected.
