Mud Lake residents are being advised that applications are now being accepted for the Newfoundland and Labrador Disaster Financial Assistance Program.
According to a public advisory made by the Municipal Affairs and Environment, compensation for damages caused by the recent flooding will be based on criteria.
The criterion for compensation has been established by both the federal and provincial disaster financial assistance program.
Mud Lake residents are encouraged first to contact their insurance companies and takes steps to mitigate any further damage.
