The Nunatsiavut Government (NG), in partnership with the Youth Ventures Program, has hired youth along the coast to sell ice cream from a cart called “Igloo Treats.”
Mary (Binky) Andersen is a Business Development Officer with NG.
Andersen says that Samantha Saksagiak and Tristan Denniston were hired in Nain to sell ice cream.
In Hopedale, Isaiah Pamak was hired to sell ice cream.
Allison Gear sold ice cream in Postville.
Igloo Treats will start in Makkovik tomorrow.
The youth in Rigolet will sell the tasty treats once Igloo Treats is finished up in Makkovik.
