The Government of Canada has released a new book called “The Indigenous Art Collection: Selected Works 1967- 2017” which showcases the incredible work of indigenous artists and curators of the collection.
This book shows the Indigenous Art Centre’s continuing efforts to honour and promote Indigenous artwork in Canada and Internationally.
According to their website the book features the artwork of the following artists from Nunatsiavut and ULM:
John Terriak of Nain, Dinah Andersen- Makkovik, Billy Gauthier, Garmel Rich and Michael Massie all from HVGB, Heather Cambell- Rigolet, and Barry Pottle from North West River.
