A low-pressure system has been hovering over the north coast of Labrador since late April.
Justin Brudreau is the Warning Preparedness Meteorologist for the Weather Office in Gander.
He says that this is being caused mainly due to North Northeast winds and the warmth of the ocean mixing with the snow ice, that is causing the precipitation.
Brudreau says that we should see a little break sometime next week.
