Makkovik and Nain Fish plant Update

The Makkovik Fish Plant is in operation since last week and the Nain Fish plant will be in Operation next week.
Keith Watts is the General Manager.
He says people are cleaning up the Makkovik fish plant as we speak.
Watts says the crab season will open on July 4 at 6am and the fishermen will set their pots out.
It will be at least 4-5 days before the fishermen make their first haul.
He adds there is a Residential Trailer for bids as is where is and the closing date is July 3rd.

The Nain fish plant will be in operation next week.
Watts says after the fish plant clean up, fishermen will then start the char fishery.
