Today marks Day 2 of the Trout Festival in Makkovik.
The events started off at 9am this morning with a Clean Energy Fair with the Kindergarten to Grade 6 at the Multi-purpose room.
A Family Sand Sculpture contest was held at 12pm at the Ranger Bight.
And at 4pm will be a community barbeque at the museum grounds followed by a Chain’s Quest for ages 8-13 and 14 and up at 4:30.
This quest will also take place at the Museum grounds with teams of two on pedal bikes for ages 8-13 and 14 and up.
There will be a Zombie Chase for all ages at 7:30pm this evening and everyone is asked to meet at the Town Office.
To participate in the Zombie Chase you must wear black/white clothing.
And at 9pm, there will be a Crib Tournament for ages 19 and up.
This tournament will consist with teams of two, free registration with a prize of $200 for first place.
