Nain Community Shed is a new program for project building, located in the old fire hall (next to the Northern store).
The shed has been set up for wood working, small engine repairs and other projects.
No experience is necessary; training will be available for proper and safe use of power tools.
The Drop in Time to work on your own projects is from 1 to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
Workshops will also be scheduled for group projects.
Examples include Kamutik building, snow shoe making, chainsaw maintenance, etc.
Workshops will be advertised when group projects are coming up.
The shed is limited to 10 people; it will be on a first-come basis.
If the space is full, check back again next time.
If you’re interested in coming and checking out the space, someone will be at the shed from 1 to 4 pm during the drop-in time.
