The Nain Husky Centre is still under repairs from the flood last month.
We spoke with the AngajukKâk of Nain, Joe Dicker.
He says the sanitization is completed and is no longer a health hazard.
The public cannot have access to the building and there won’t be any activities as of yet until the walls are secured as the contractors are still waiting for materials to arrive.
Dicker adds that it is safe for the staff to hold bingo in the lobby and that bingo cards are sold at the new firehall.
Once the main lobby is complete, they will then hand over the key back to the Nain ICG and will notify the public once it becomes available.
