National Film Board

The National Film Board of Canada selection at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival will take place on Thursday, September 6 to the 18th.

The film will feature compelling documentary and animated story telling from some of Canada’s most distinguished creators.

Three feature-length will premiere. Brian D Johnson’s Sphinx Production /NFB co-production, “The Colour of Ink” uncovers the mediums mystery and power through the eyes of Jason Logan, a visionary Toronto ink maker.

– Ever Deadly, and immersive music and cinema experience featuring avant-garde Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq, created in collaboration with award winning filmmaker Chelsea McMullen.
– Nisha Pahuja’s Notice Picture/NFB Production to Killa Tige, in which a farmer in Jharkhand, India takes on the fight of his life when he demands justice for his 13-year-old daughter, the victim of a brutal rape.
