The Nunatsiavut Government and the Inuit Tapariit Kanadami (ITK) identified a need to implement a TB Public Health Nurse in Nain.
We spoke with Megan Hudson the new TB Public Nurse that was hired for Nain.
Hudson says she was hired for her new position in January of this year.
She was hired on due to the recent TB outbreak that happened in Nain in 2018 and prior.
Hudson will be engaged to help and support the community.
She has her own office located downstairs at the Department of Health and Social Development.
