The Nigivik started with their programs since Dec 3rd, 2019.
Brenda Dicker is the new Food Security Coordinator along with Christa Angnatok who is the new Community Food Worker.
She says they will be holding programs every day except for Thursdays for the Power Hour.
They would like to notify the public that today will be the last day for the Power Hour as Christmas is fast approaching.
On Monday, December 16th, the Nigivik is reserved for Family Cooking and will be making spaghetti from 9 am-12 pm.
And on the 17th, they will be Making Christmas cookies for adults from 9 am-12 pm.
Every Wednesday afternoons is also reserved for kids day from 3-4:15, and will be holding another one for the kids on the 18th making sushi.
Dicker says on December 23rd, they will be having a Christmas Dinner from 2-4:30 and is open to anyone.
They have limited seats for the Christmas Dinner, so anyone wanting to put your name in can drop by or call the Nigivik Centre.
She would also like to notify the public that the Nigivik Centre will be closed on 24th, 25th, and 26th of this month.
On Friday the 27th, they will be re-opening, making chicken vegetable soup and will be open to everyone from 1-4:15 pm.
