This year the Nunatsiavut Government will start the construction of over $50 Million worth of Capital infrastructure for the Nunatsiavut Government.
Projects will include this year.
Seniors’ units: Construction is underway for Nain 4-plex unit, Nain Duplex, Hopedale 4-plex, Hopedale Single Unit (Another single unit will be constructed when they get legal title to lots.
The Nain Staff 6-plex: Construction Underway, Hopedale 4-Plex: Rapid Housing Initiative (CMHC): Construction Underway.

Makkovik 4-Plex: Staff Housing: Construction Underway.
Regional Education Office:
Construction Package 1 (CP1) package for civil work has completed.
Construction Package 2 (CP2) building construction started on June 12th.
Makkovik Duplex (Social Housing): Project team is evaluating.
Postville Duplex (Social/Staff Housing): Planning underway.
Postville Office Addition: Tender package issued, and construction will start Summer 2023.
Rigolet DHSD: Contract awarded; some site preparation started for construction. Will be constructed during the 2023 construction season.
