The Paddon Home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL is still sitting empty on Cook Street.
Jennifer Hefler-Elson is the Executive Director for the Labrador Friendship Centre.
She says the Provincial government said they would transfer the building to the Labrador Friendship Centre.
But the Centre would need 6 million dollars to renovate it.
