Pauling Henoche, an Elder of Nain remembers going to school when she was seven years until she was 15 years of age.
Henoche says, she attended school in Nutâk only in Inuktitut.
Her teachers were Bridgett Schloss, and Beatrice Watts.
While growing up, her parents always fished for char and cod fish, and hunted for bigger game like caribou for subsistence.
