The 22nd Annual Salmon Festival began today August 7th until the 10th in Rigolet.
Today started at 1pm for Senior’s and Friends they have a 120 card game for ages 19+ with an admission fee of $5.
At 6pm they will have a Salmon Festival Parade with a Float Competition, with prizes for the most creative, most Enthusiastic, and the most original to the Salmon Theme.
Opening ceremonies will be located at the Community Hall following the parade.
The King and Queen, and Prince and Princess will be crowned followed by a meat and cake walk along with finger foods.
9:30pm there will be a Fireworks show located at the community dock.
Tomorrow the Festival with begin with a few games such as Booth Games, Face Painting, Puck Shot and Axe Throwing.
