The annual Thanksgiving sale was held at the Nain Moravian Church yesterday, October 12, 2020.
Joan Dicker is a community member and volunteered with the Thanksgiving sale.
She says the food was brought to the church on Sunday, October 11th and had the Thanksgiving sale on Monday, October 12th.
The Nain Moravian Church sale which was usually held at the JS Community Centre was held at the church for the first time due to the pandemic.
She says with the help from the church members and volunteers, altogether with the cold plate sale, hot plate sale, auction of baked goods and the church sale, a total amount of $2,275.30 was raised.
The Nain Moravian Church would like to thank everyone who helped out with the fundraiser this weekend, and those that made donations and brought forth foods and supported the Nain Moravian Church.
