People throughout Labrador are grieving the loss of a young Makkovik boy.
Local rescuers found the boy’s body on Wednesday after three days of searching.
Candles were lit all throughout Labrador on Wednesday evening in remembrance of the 14-year old.

Hard to believe eh! That these S&R’ers train for harsh environments like this, yet they are saying that the weather conditions were too much for their members safety…yet a private helicopter, with lesser training and equipment…were able to fly! Come on DND, it’s bad enough pulling the blanket over the publics eyes, but this excuse has backfired. Now admit your wrong, submit a legit appology AND make the smart decision of bringing the S&R team to Goose Bay.
