The OKalakatiget Society would like to make a tribute to John Jararuse who recently passed away at the Long Term Care Centre in Happy Valley, Goose Bay.
John Jararuse lived in Nain after being relocated from Hebron in the 1950’s.
He was wellknown for his storytelling as well as musical skills.
Jararuse was the last of the Nain Moravian Church Organists where he served the church for many years.
He also worked at OKalakatiget Society as Radio Producer/Translator, and served on the OKalakatiget Society Board for many years.
OKalakatiget Society would like to extend Condolences to the Family and Friends of John Jararuse.
