William Fitzhugh, also known as Bill, has been an Archeologist for over 50 years with the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.
Fitzhugh has been working in Labrador for many years and the last time he was in Nunatsiavut was four years ago when he worked with Archeologist Jamie Brake.
Fitzhugh was working this summer at the Quebec North Shore.
He has worked north of Nain, near the vicinity of Nain and in Rigolet at Double Mere.
Fitzhugh would like to come back to Labrador sometime soon.
